And to thaw them you can put them in your fridge or run them under warm water for like 30 seconds or less to thaw. You can freeze the bags laying them flat. And they are super costly compared to bags. Bottles arent meant for breastmilk to be thawed in. It's so close to fitting but I'd have them fall off and they just didnt fit. I know medela bottles have those tops, but never looked into other brands. If you freeze in bottles you would freeze in storage bottles with a flat top though, and just attach the nipples as needed. If it wasn’t enough to freeze into a full bottle it went in the fridge to be used if he got hungry between feedings or I’d combine left over milk until it was enough to freeze in a bag. I've always just planned to freeze in bags, but my husband keeps saying freezer space isn't a problem and thinks I should just find bottles that I can pump, feed and freeze with to simplify things. I really want to find a bottle that I can pump directly into and then use to feed baby, and freeze right in the bottle if saving. ETA: I just found an adapter that works for comotomo bottles with spectra! But also wondering, has anybody used just bottles for their freezer stash? Or is that not practical?
